September 27, 2007, Tysons Corner, VA – Beers + Cutler, the leading accounting and consulting firm focused on the Washington, DC region, today announced its largest new hire class, with 41 college graduates joining the firm. The new staff members will add to the ranks of Beers + Cutler’s Commercial Business, Consulting, Professional Services and Real Estate practice groups. More than half of the new hires had either internships or externships with the firm prior to accepting full time positions.

The September class includes graduates from the University of Maryland, the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, George Mason, James Madison, Penn State, the University of Richmond, West Virginia University, Lock Haven University and the University of Rochester.

A number of the new hires will be pursuing their Masters in Accountancy in programs at American University, George Mason University, George Washington University and the University of Maryland. Those pursuing additional education such as their Masters in Accountancy are eligible to participate in Beers + Cutler’s innovative 150 Hour Tuition Reimbursement Program, which is designed to assist qualified students in addressing both academic and financial challenges, in order to sit for the CPA exam.
