Randall Barrus and Frank Walker are named partners

October 1, 2007, Tysons Corner, VA – Beers + Cutler, the leading accounting and consulting firm focused on the Washington, DC region, is pleased to announce that Randall Barrus and Frank Walker have been named partners in the firm.

Randy Barrus is a member of our Real Estate Group and has over 12 years experience serving private developers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity funds, home builders and construction companies. He has been involved in structuring complex real estate transactions and assisting REITs with their financial accounting and operational needs.

Randy is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) and is on the board of directors and serves as the Co-Chairperson of the Tax Committee for the National Association of Real Estate Companies (NAREC). He is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy.

Frank Walker is a member of our Consulting Group and leads our Transaction Advisory Services practice that focuses on middle-market mergers & acquisitions, large financing events, post deal advisory and integration as well as performance improvement and turn around advice. He has over 15 years of public accounting and private industry experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, government contracting, services, direct marketing and technology.

Frank is a frequent speaker and author of articles on corporate growth. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of The Catholic University of America.
